Back in 1992 Kevin, Charles , Tamzin, Suzie (our dog ) and I were invited to a thanksgiving dinner at Clandon rectory with the Smith family. Kevin had just been offered a new job in Bristol after a period of redundancy. We had a fabulous meal and several bottles of wine followed by sloe gin. Definitely too much to drive home so Barbara and Jeffry found sleeping bags and toothbrushes and nightwear. Charles wore one of Jeffry’s nightshirts. It is just one of the many memories of happy times together the Smith’s and the Moloney’s.
